Are you preparing for a relocation? We all go through a move sometime or an other. I’ve moved so many times that I just hate it. I can honesty say I’ll never do it again by myself. but I learned my lesson about hiring people to help me move. I had to move a big screen tv once so I hired a couple of guys from the yellow pages. All I wanted was my tv moved up a couple flights of stairs so I called for some help. It was one of those huge walnut encased 64 inch tv’s. Nothing like today’s newer model (light as a feather) big screens. This thing weighed in a at about 100 pounds. Anyway when they came with the truck. I’m not talking about a pickup like I thought they would have. No, they got a big U-haul truck and I had to pay a minimum of 3 hours. Anyway, they got it to my house ok but trying to go up the stairs was a night mare. They almost dropped that TV about 4 times and at one point I had to help get it up the stairs or they would have dropped it. I guess my point is that you need professionals to do the job and I found some in Oasis Moving. They are Las Vegas based with branches all around the country and one of them is in Phoenix Arizona. I tell you that if you’re looking for some good Arizona Movers then you should check these guys out. At least go to their site and fill in a free quote form, see what they have to offer

After a move there’s often quite a bit more to do than one might expect. That list only gets longer when you change cities and the sear volume of tasks can be a bit overwhelming for most. Well fear not Arizona movers, we’ve got a few more tips to help you survive the uncertainty that comes after the big move.

When you’ve moved to a new area or a new town you’ll find it may be a bit of an adjustment. If you moved from town to town, like Jerome to Wilcox, you can expect things to be more or less the same, but if you go town to city things can be quite different. Try to find the types of shops you frequented when you lived at your old place. You may find that your options have increased, stayed the same or decreased depending on where you moved.

Setting aside an afternoon to find what you need is the best way to get familiar with your surrounds. Find a place to get your haircut, find the nearest grocery store, take a trip to your local mall or try a new restaurant. If you have a special interest, check the phone book for the nearest specialty shop. It’s a great way to meet new people with similar interest. All of this goes a long way to making the new place feel more like a home.

If you have kids you may find that they may adjust a bit slower than you had hoped. How they adjust has a lot to do with both their age and the connections they’ve fostered at your old place. It’s often easier for younger children, particularly those who are not yet old enough to attend school. Usually finding the closest park or play area for your child is enough to make them forget about the old house all together.

When you have older kids it’s often a great deal harder to adjust after a move, especially if it’s a long distance move. Leaving behind friends, schools, and favorite spots can be rough for everyone. It’s often a good idea to allow your kids to keep in contact with friends they’ve grown particularly attached too. Arrange phone calls and possibly the occasional visit to lessen the strain of a big move, but always encourage them to make new friends and new memories. Try getting them involved in changing the new place around to suit everyone’s taste. If you can paint your new place then have them choose the color for their room. It’s a great way to get them looking forward rather than backward. These are just a few great tips to get Arizona movers on the right track after a big move.
